When I rolled in his direction and looked
Michael was still asleep. He's usually up before me but the
last few months with the aftermath of the accident at first
he didn't sleep at all and now that the casts are ready to come
off he's been kinda catching up.
The absolute last thing that I want to
do is wake him and I turn gently onto my side and watch his
face as he sleeps. His hair is darkish brown and at the moment
pretty messed up. That's okay with me. I think he looks hotter
when he's not so put together, more relaxed. He has clear skin
that's slightly darker than mine with a straight short nose
and a strong jaw, which right now is covered in stubble. His
eyelids are flickering gently. I hope the dream is about me.
There's a tent in the blankets where his cock would be but that's
a normal morning condition and as much as I want to wrap my
hand around it I don't.
It was that time of year in Wisconsin
when the weather begins to hint of winter. The days for the
most part are still warm and dry with the nights beginning to
ease off a bit from the dry heat of August. But then from time
to time you'll get one of those deeply grey days and the nonstop
rain that's always such a part of them and speak to what is
coming. And the light changes too and it always surprises me.
I remember as a teenager asking my dad why a day seemed so different
and he reminded me that the sun wasn't rising as high in the
sky and that the light, or rather the angle of it, was indeed
different.
I slid carefully out of bed and went into
the bathroom and got ready to go to the office. After I was
showered and dressed I kissed a sleeping Michael's forehead
and left for the office.
Rosie looked up from her desk with a look
of shock on her face. She pulled off the little half glasses
she's been wearing lately and tossed them on the desk.
"What the hell you doin here at this hour?"
"Good morning to you too, Rosie."
She got up and picked up the trench coat
that I had dropped on a chair and hung it up in the closet.
"With Michael banged up we ain't used to seein you till more
like ten or so so why............ohhhh the casts are comin off."
I plopped down in the chair next to her
overflowing desk and kicked my shoes off. "That's where I gotta
be at ten." I sighed. "This is going to be soooo good having
those casts off of him." I laughed. "He's driving me crazy.
He's driving everyone crazy..........especially himself."
"So you taken him someplace once he's
free of those things?"
I sigh. "I wanted to take him to Florida
or anywhere for that matter but he won't hear of it. He's gotta
get back to his job."
"He's just frustrated, Boss. He wants
to be his own man, wants to get back to work."
"I know, Rosie and I respect that but
he's been cooped up for so long...........it'd just be great
to get him away from here, just the two of us, no nurses."
"Boss, let em get to feelin that he's
caught up with everbody else. Nothin worse than feelin that
you're still on Monday when everbody else is already at Friday."
"I know, Rosie. Fact is that I just thrilled
that he made it through this. I mean there's stuff that I'd
love to do with him but I do understand that he needs to do
this and I'm cool with it. The only thing that I want is for
him to be happy."
I kinda zoned out but kept talking. "Funny...........just
seeing him come through that door at night when he's had a good
day..........even when he's tired and doesn't wanna do anything.............just
being able to reach out and touch him and see him smile."
"Boss!"
"Huh?"
"I'm expectin a call back from MacKenzie
on that farm in Illinois. You want it?"
"Maybe.........probably. How much?
"Maybe $12.5 but it's a hundred and twenty
acres and it's right by that big shopping center."
"That sounds cheap."
"It is, Boss but he wants a fast sale
if he decides to do it. You could resell it for $14.5"
I leaned back in the chair and crossed
my arms behind my neck. "I wouldn't want to resell it. Would
the village still let livestock be raised there?"
"They can't stop it, Boss it's grandfathered
in."
"They could use Eminent Domain."
"They could but I don't think that they
would. Besides whadya wanna raise? You ain't no farmer."
"We could do feeder cattle, Rosie. Corn's
cheap and I got that guy in Iowa that's always wanting to sell
me cattle."
"Boss, I don't see you with no cowboy
hat."
I smiled. "You'd look good in one Rosie!"
"Boss, you put cattle on that farm and
the village'll go crazy."
"I know, Rosie. I'm just teasing. Although
someday I'm getting into that business." I grinned. "Don't worry,
I won't do cattle besides I'm kickin around another idea."
She gave me a disgusted look and then
glanced pointedly at her watch. "Boss, you don't wanna make
Michael late for getting those casts off."
I looked at my watch and muttered, "Oh
shit! I gotta go or Michael's ginna be pissed."
-----------------------------
Michael was waiting for me on the driveway leaning on his crutch.
I pulled up and stopped right in front of him. He was wearing
a sweatshirt and cutoff sweat pants to accommodate the casts.
For some reason, standing there leaning on that crutch with
that look of anticipation on his face he looked like a little
boy.
I leaned my head out of the car window
smiled and said, "You look pathetic."
He hobbled over to the passenger side
door while I got out and went over to help him. "First of all,
bite me! Where were you? I thought you forgot!"
I rolled my eyes at him. "Yeah, like that
could happen!"
"Come on, help me in."
I smiled at him. "Kiss me first."
"Jeff, we're gonna be late!"
"Mikey, once you get those casts off I'm
never gonna see you again. You're gonna be working twenty hours
a day so that you can prove that you're as good as anyone else
at the firm. Oh fuck! Will ya just kiss me?"
He turned and smiled at me and gave me
a goofy grin. I moved in front of him and placed my hands lightly
on his waist.
He whispered, "I kissed you this morning."
"Not enough."
He smiled. "This something that you're
gonna want all the time?"
I was moving my head steadily closer to
his. "I'm pretty sure."
"You're gonna gimme a hardon and you can't
hide it in these.................." I pressed my lips to his
and forced his mouth open with my tongue. I drew his tongue
into my mouth and sucked on it while he moaned softly.
He sighed and said, "If the doctor asks
me about the hardon I'm telling him you were perving on me and
I couldn't defend myself with these casts on."
I reached for the car door. "He would
definitely believe you, Michael."
I eased Michael into the car and he said.
"Yeah, I forgot your rep. Well I guess that means he knows about
me too.........not that I give a fuck."
"Speaking of fucking...........don't kill
yourself today at work cause you're gonna need your strength
tonight. I'm expecting big things from you without those casts
on."
He pulled my hand over and put it on his
crotch. "You'll get big things tonight! Besides I have topped
you even with the casts on and getting them off won't change
my dick." He leaned his head back against the seat and pulled
my hand to his lips. "Jeff, wouldn't you rather fuck me? At
least once these come off I'll be able to participate."
I leaned over and kissed him. "I kinda
liked it when you just had to lay there and take it."
He grunted. "You would, Captain Perv!"
I looked at him. "You really wanna get
to the doctor's office?"
"Huh?"
"I can't put the car in gear unless you
let go of my hand."
"Oh."
An hour and a half later I got a jubilant
Michael back to the house to change into his lawyer clothes
and get his car.
"Jeff, I can dress myself."
"I know. I like to watch." He gave me
a look. "Okay! This is your first day back and I just wanna
see that everything goes alright."
"Everything'll be fine! I'm the one who
should be nervous, what are you worried about?"
"I dunno." And I didn't. "You sure look
hot in boxer briefs."
I turned him around and ran my hands over
his butt. "The way that this material just kinda follows the
contours of your ass is really great. Want me to drive you to
work?"
"Jeff, you can't come to work with me."
"What if I took you to lunch?"
"It's too late for lunch."
He took my face in his hands and smiled.
"Mom! I won't get hurt driving to work. Nothing bad is gonna
happen at the office. And I'll be home before you know it."
I kissed him quickly while I had him close.
"Whadya want for dinner?"
He looked surprised. "You're not gonna
cook are ya?"
I laughed. "Ralph'll wanna cook something
that you really like."
He pulled on a pair of navy blue pants.
"I dunno, something evil......maybe chicken fried steak and
mashed potatoes with cream gravy.........something high fat."
I handed him a white dress shirt and he
slipped it on while I draped a tie over his shoulders.
I whispered, "I'd like to drip cream gravy
on your asshole and then spend about an hour licking it off."
He shook his head slowly, "You're gonna
gimme the hardon from hell!"
I ran my hand down the front of his body
and slowly slipped it into his briefs and cupped his steadily
growing dick.
"Jeff! Man, what are you doing to me?"
I dropped to my knees and jerked his briefs
and pants down. I looked up into his eyes and grinned. "I woulda
thought that was pretty obvious."
"Jeff, you can't.............." I crammed
his dick into my mouth. "Ohhh fuck! Shit you are pure evil!"
I started pistoning my mouth on his cock
while my fingers followed my mouth in a twisting motion. Jeff
grabbed my head and tried to fuck my mouth harder but I held
him off but then reached between his legs and started playing
with his butt. He was making an "Eh, eh, eh," sound and when
I pressed my finger passed his ring he started shooting.
His legs were shaking and I began to wonder
if maybe I had stressed his body too much with my little escapade.
I held him steady until he stopped shaking and then I stood
up and wrapped my arms around him.
"You okay?" His chin was on my shoulder
and he was hugging me back hard.
He sighed. "I should be pissed but that
felt too good." He pulled his head back and looked at me and
then kissed me. "You gonna let me go to work now?"
"Yep."
He smiled. "Try and look a little happier."
I tried to look enthusiastic. "I want
whatever you want."
Michael frowned and shifted his weight.
"That's your happy look?"
I twisted my mouth up into a huge artificial
grin. "How's that?"
"I could get you committed with that look
on your face."
I kissed him back. "I'm already committed............to
you." I swallowed the lump in my throat. "Okay, get your butt
in gear. Go sue somebody. Tie someone up contractual knots."
"So what are you gonna be doing while
I'm busting my lawyerly hump?"
I grinned. "Rosie actually is demanding
that I make some decisions so I thought I'd go hang out there
for the rest of the day."
He slipped the suit coat on and shrugged
his shoulders to get it to settle. "I feel like this is the
first day of school."
While I was taking off my coat I said to Rosie, "Would you tell.....make
that ask Ralph if he could do like chicken fried steak for Michael
tonight?"
Rosie laughed. "Now you talking food!
Mashed potatoes with cream gravy?" I nodded. "Oh yeah and those
little bitty peas too! Man I'm commin to your house for dinner!"
"Rosie, that MacKenzie deal, call em and
get it done, do it right now. I wanna close by the end of the
month or faster, preferably much faster." Rosie was already
dialing. While she was waiting I said, "After that I need Charley
Becker at Becker & Co."
I walked into my own office and call
Jamie Gosten our account exec for Northern Wisconsin and Michigan.
"Fred, Green Bay is voting today right on their pension plan?"
"In one hour, Boss."
"Okay. Emmett is still chairing that committee?"
"Who else? He never lets go of control
of anything."
"I'm gonna call him and authorize dropping
our fee from 1.25% to 1.00%."
"Why, Jeff? He's gonna approve it, we
don't need to do that! Besides then he's gonna think he can
always go over my head."
"Jamie, I'll make up your commission myself
but Emmett is running this fall and this is a tougher race than
he's used to. I want him to have some ammo. As long as he's
in there we've got a lock on that account. To me it's worth
the money. I'm also making some large personal contributions
to some hospitals in his area. But I really want him to be able
to say to constituents that his personal relationship with me
has helped in a material way. I'm also gonna tell him that it
was your idea."
"My idea?"
"You'll look like a hero."
"You'll take care of my commission?"
"Every dime."
"How can I argue?"
"Bye, Jamie."
I hit Rosie's number. "What's happening?"
"We got it. I gotta wire $1.4 million
today with the rest at closing."
"Thank, Rosie. Did you get Charley?"
"Ringin now Boss."
"Charley! How ya feeling?"
"Old, Jeff, very old. How's your young
man?"
"Well he had an accident but he just got
the cast off his leg today, so all is well."
"You need to bring him to Chicago so that
I can ogle him."
"Are you to be trusted Charley?"
He laughed. "Jeff at seventy nine ogling
is pretty much the extent of my repertoire."
"Charley, have you thought more about
what we discussed?"
There was a pause. ‘Yes...........I
have. The thing is, Jeff that I hate not doing anything. I just
can't see myself sitting at home."
"You don't have to, Charley. I'm thinking
permanent seat on the board, Chairman Emeritus title and a big
corner office with a hot male secretary whose ass you can pinch."
The older man sighed. "You make this sound
awfully good, Jeff. What kinda cash we talking?"
"Three hundred and fifty."
"I thought it was four."
"Is that what you want, Charley?"
"I want four fifty."
"Split the difference?"
The older man was silent for almost thirty
seconds then said quietly, "Deal."
"So we have a firm deal then, Charley?"
"Send me ten percent by the end of the
day and call your lawyers."
"You won't regret it, Charley."
"If I was twenty years younger I'd be
buying you, Jeff!"
"Charley there's not the slightest doubt
in my mind that you would."
After we hung up I called Rosie's extension.
"Hon, send Charles Becker forty two and half million this afternoon.
Note that it's contingent on the closing of the deal to buy
Becker & Co., maybe better call Joe Callin and get the exact
wording but it's gotta be there today. And get our guy at Skidmore,
Owings and have him call me."
For once Rosie was almost but not quite,
speechless. "Boss! What have you been up to?"
"I been thinking about it for a while.
That MacKenzie land, I want a ten story tower and then smaller
ones, maybe a million square feet. Have Joel send out feelers
to our top three hundred and see how much interest there would
be but have it be kinda vague. We'll move Becker & Co into
the tower and it'll give a nice high class edge to the place.
Oh, I guess that Joe will probably want to talk to me after
you're done with him but get that info outta him first and wire
that money."
I called Joe Callin and it took me ten
minutes to slow Joe's mouth to a walk.
"Jeff you don't just send someone forty-two
million dollars!"
"Joe, you do if that someone is an old
codger whose word is his bond and expects the same from you.
If I had dropped back to a my people will call your people thing
the deal would be dead. Charley Becker likes things that he
understands and he understands the simple agreement we just
made. Rosie tell you about the land?"
"How you funding it?"
"Limited partnership, work out the details.
Figure three hundred limited partners and if it ends up one
million square feet, well, you can do the math. Come up with
the best way to structure the general partner. You know I sure
wished you guys would partner up with a firm in Chicago. Why
don't you guys merge with Jenner and Block or somebody?"
"You're not trying to engineer something
are you, Jeff?"
I laughed. "No but the day is young. Speaking
of partners, how's mine doing?"
"I dunno why that boy gets so anxious,
he's doin great! I just wish to fuck he'd relax."
"He will, Joe. He just needs to get back
into a routine."
"You're sure about this Becker thing?"
"I'm sure, Joe."
My wandering boy pulled into the garage
at quarter to six, I was standing at the door and wrapped him
in my arms.
"I so missed you!"
Michael kissed me and grinning said, "I
missed you too. How'd you keep yourself occupied today?"
I hung Michael's overcoat up and pulled
him into the kitchen. "Ralph left everything for us, just like
you wanted, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and cream
gravy."
He lifted up the covers of some pans on
the stove and smiled. "It smells fantastic!"
I stepped behind him and wrapped my arms
around his waist. "High fat enough?"
"It's great! We got wine?"
"Do bears sleep in the woods? A nice red."
Michael moved out of my arms and leaned
against the counter with an odd little smile on his face. "So
anything interesting happen today?"
